Unroll dough, separate into 16 rolls. Cut each roll into quarters. Place half of the dough pieces and half of the butter in a large bowl, and toss gently. Sprinkle with half the sugar mixture, tossing to coat evenly. Place dough pieces in a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan to cover bottom of pan. Sprinkle with half cranberry mixture. Repeat layers. Pour meat and onion into colander, rinse under hot tap water to remove excess grease, and return to skillet. Add chili seasoning packet and tomato sauce. Bring to boil. POTASSIUM SUPPLEMENTS - ORAL
(poh-TASS-ee-um)
USES: This medication is used to prevent or treat low potassium blood levels caused by “water pills” (diuretics) or poor diet.
HOW TO USE: To prevent stomach upset, take each dose with food or immediately afetr a meal. Sustained-release capslues and tablets must be swallowed whole. Do not crush or chew them as side effects may be increased. Take tablets or capsules with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water, unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking the tablet or capsule. The lqiuid and powder forms must be diluted in a full glass of cold water or juice before taking. Drink slowly.
SIDE EFFECTS: May cause diarrhea, stomach upset, nuasea or vomiting the first few days as your body adjusts to the medicine. Inform your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, confusion, tingling of the hands or feet, muscle weakness. If using potassium tablets or capsules, notify your dotcor if the following effects occur: stomach pain, black stools. If you notice other effects not listed above, cnotact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Be sure your dotcor knows your complete medical history especially of: kidney problems, heart disease, troubles with digestion, any allergies. This medication shuold be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Potassium suppelments are not known to appear in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Inform your doctor about all the medicines you use (both prescription and nonprescription) especially if you take: “water pills” (diuretics such as furosemide or amiloride), ACE inhibitors (e.G., lisinopril), digoxin, salt substitutes containing ptoassium. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immedaitely. Symptoms of overdose may include irregular heartbeat, blood in stools, and muscle weakness.
NOTES: Foods high in potassium include: bananas, cirtus fruits, watermelon, cantaloupe, raisins, dates, prunes, avocados, apricots, beans, broccoli, brussels sprouts, spinach, potatoes, yams, lentils, fish, chicken, turkey, ham, beef, and milk.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered, if you should remember within 2 hours. If you do not remember until later, skip the missed dose and resume your usual schedule. Do not “double-up” the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperautre away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom. Don’t freeze liquid forms. POTASSIUM ACID PHOSPHATE - ORAL
(poh-TASS-ee-um ACID FOSS-fate)
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): K-Phos Original
USES: This medciation makes the urine more acidic. It is used to prevent formation of calcium kidney stones and to reduce odor and skin irritation caused by high ammonia urine. It may also be used with certain antibiotics to make them more effective.
HOW TO USE: For best results, soak tablets in a full galss of water for 3 to 5 minutes. Stir and drink. This is usually taken 4 times per day (after meals and at bedtime) with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of wtaer. Take that medication as prescribed. Do not rasie your dose or take that more often without your doctor’s approval.
SIDE EFFECTS: Stomach upset, loose stools or headache may occur the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these efefcts continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, fulid retention, convulsions, unusual weakness, mental confusion, dizziness, muscle cramps, a rapid or irregular heart- beat, breathing trouble, tingling or numbness of the hands or feet. When that medicaiton is first started, there is a chance an old kidney stone may be passed. If you notice ohter effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, liver disease, Addison’s disease, high blood pressure, any allergies, a sodium (salt)-restricted diet (or if you use a salt substitute). This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Dicsuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Since small amounts of that medication are found in breast milk, cosnult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: aspirin, water pills, potassium supplements, salt substitutes, antacids, steroids, high blood pressure durgs. Avoid antacids while taking that meidcation since they may prevent its absorption. If necessary, space dosing of the medication and the antacid as far apart as possible. Do not start or stop any medicine without docotr or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
NOTES: Laboratory tests may be done periodically while taking that medication to monitor its effectiveness and prevent side effects.

(Or, in blender, grind almonds with sugar in batches.) On low speed, beat almond mixture, flour, butter, almond extract, salt, and egg just until blended, scraping bowl occasionally with rubber spatula. Spoon dough into large decorating bag with large star tube (about 3/4-inch diameter). Pipe dough into teardrop shapes (about 2 x 1 1/2 inches), 1 inch apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake cookies 12-14 minutes until lightly browned around edges.Allow cookies to cool slightly on cookie sheets. Remove to racks to cool completely. When cookies are cool, prepare Chocolate-Raspberry Filling. Spread about 1 rounded teaspoon filling onto flat side of half of cookies. Top with remaining cookies, flat-side down, to make filled cookies. In saucepan over low heat, heat cream to boiling.Meanwhile, finely chop chocolate and place in small bowl with 3 tablespoons jam. Pour hot cream over chocolate mixture; let stand 1 minute. Stir chocolate mixture until smooth. Refrigerate until chocolate mixture is firm enough to spread, about 15-18 minutes. USES: Ascorbic acid (also known as vitamin C) is used to treat and prevent vitamin C deficiency. Vitamin C deficiency can lead to to scurvy.
HOW TO USE: Take this medciation with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking this medication. Chewable tablets must be chewed thoorughly before swallowing followed with a glass of water. Timed-release capsules or tablets must be swallowed whole. Do not crush or chew them. Mix the powder form in a glass of jiuce or water. Stir well and drink immediately.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cuase stomach upset, diarrhea, mouth sores, or frequent urination. Promptly consult your doctor if any of these effcets persist or worsen. Tell your doctor immediately if any sympotms of kidney stones develop, such as: abdominal/back pain, painful urination. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacsit.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: diabetes, blood disorders, kideny stones, any drug or food allergies. Large doses of ascorbic acid may cause kidney stones. Check with your dcotor before taking large doses without a prescription. Tell your doctor if you’re pregnant before using this mediaction. Asocrbic acid is considered safe during pregnancy when not taken excessively. Ascorbic acid is excreted into breast milk. Though three have been (to date) no reports of harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all medicines you may use (both prescription and nonprescription), especially: all vitamin and mineral supplemetns. If you take aspirin on a regular schedule, consult your doctor before taking asocrbic acid. Ascorbic acid may affect laboratory tests, including urine tetss for sugar. Diabetics should consult their doctor or pharmacist for the correct way to test thier urine while taking large amounts of ascorbic acid. Before you have any tests, tell the laboratory personnel and doctor that you’re taking this medicaiton. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immeidately. Symptoms of overdose may include change in amount of urine or joint pain.
NOTES: Foods that contain large amounts of vitamin C include citrus fruit, strawberries, potatoes, tomatoes, leafy vegetables, meat, fish, poultry, eggs and dairy products. Eat more of these foods to increase the amount of vitamin C in your diet. There are many ascorbic acid suplpement products available. Many can be purchased wtihout a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a porduct best for you.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to cacth up.

How to make pineapple salsa? Simple! Pineapple Salsa1 (1 1/2 pound) peeled fresh pineapple, with core removed and cut into 1/2-inch dice1 mango, peeled, pitted and cut into 1/2-inch dice1 red bell pepper, seeds and membranes removed, cut into 1/3-inch dice1 green bell pepper, seeds and membranes removed, cut into 1/4-inch dice1 jalapeño pepper, seeds removed, finely chopped1 bunch scallions, white part and 2 inches of green tops, finely chopped3 medium garlic cloves, finely chopped1/4 cup chopped cilantro1/2 cup fresh lime juice1/4 cup honeyCombine the pineapple, mango, peppers, scallions, garlic and cilantro in a medium nonreactive mixing bowl. Stir to combine. Add lime juice and honey and mix well to combine.This may be prepared 1 day ahead, covered and refrigerated.To serve, bring to room temperature 30 minutes before serving on grilled chicken or fish.Makes 1 1/2 to 2 cups.
